We added a new wooden top to this desk and painted both the desk and chair in a light gray color. The wooden desktop was stained and varnished, and a wax topcoat was added to the gray painted portions. The original desk hardware was brought back to life in order to be put back on, and the drawers were lined. The chair was upholstered in a durable, neutral striped fabric.
